Eric J. Finkbeiner

Eric Finkbeiner is the Director of McGuireWoods Consulting's Virginia Government Relations Team. Eric served in both the Wilder and Allen administrations before joining McGuireWoods Consulting. He is an attorney who served as executive director of Governor Allen's Commission on Parole Abolition and Sentencing Reform and advised Governor Allen on transportation, environmental, and anti-crime issues. Eric also served as communications director for the Task Force on Violent Crime, led by Governor Douglas Wilder. Mr. Finkbeiner has served as a policy and communications advisor to most of the Republican candidates for statewide office over the past 10 years. Eric serves as McGuireWoods Consulting's representative for the Republican Governors Association (RGA), the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

Mr. Finkbeiner provides state and local government relations services to worldwide leaders in the industries of technology, telecommunications, automobile manufacturing and environmental management. Additionally, as part of the McGuireWoods LLP Government Contracts and Regulatory Solutions Group, Eric has represented clients on procurement matters and before state administrative boards and agencies.
